nu går ett gäng umeå-kreatörer samman för att hylla pågående samarbeten som främjar nytänkande och förändring inom mode och konst.

den 10 oktober 2009 kl 20.00 släpps klädmärket we are eljests debutkollektion ”hand in hand”. kläderna kommer att visas på schmäck kafé i umeå i en rad uttrycksformer: genom modefotografier av jenni sandström, en film av erik löfgren och stilenlig interiördesign av peter queckenstedt och alexander aderklint.

kvällen anordnas av umeåbaserade konstkollektivet eljest art collective som en alternativ programpunkt till umeå fashion weekend. eljest art collective erbjuder ett event där fokus ligger på kreatörerna i umeå och deras arbete med mode och konst.

vernissagen är en hyllning till det faktiska (sam)arbetet som sker bland kreatörer inom mode och konst just nu i Umeå."
